Character Design - King James I ... cont

Character design for King James I. Following traditional outfits of the Kings with the era of Guy Fawkes and King James I, the King has three size layers to his trousers. The first ranging from foot to knee, is about the thickness of football socks which define the shape of the lower leg. The second travels up from the knee to about mid thigh, which is slightly thicker then the socks. The third ranges from mid thigh to the waste, which is the thickest of the outfit, which appears to be a large cushioning around the upper legs. The King also has short cloak/cape with pointy shoulder pads and most importantly a crown. King James I is the most extravagantly dressed character with in the animation to help children recognise him as the King.
